Butters can be very nourishing and moisturizing for the skin. They are packed with a substantial amounts of vitamins A,C and E to say the least that our skin needs everyday especially as we grow older.
My favorites are mango butter, shea butter, olive butter and avocado butter. I found by using natural butters instead of lotions(which the % in lotions is mostly water)are so much more beneficial. Just to name a few benefits: moisturizing, heals rashes, great for sunburns, cracked heals, anti-aging, soothes dermatitis, increases skin moisture, is an emollient and super absorbent does not sit on your skin. This is my personal experience. Reap even more benefits by adding your favorite essential oils and carrier oils.
